PREPRESS

SCANNING
Amica Inc. scans to match your project colors. Amica works on reproduction to match the original, with close match of colors that are not reproducible in CMYK. These are colors such as pastel, fluorescent, metallic and colors such as bright blue, orange, purple, and green. We can scan images from slide, flat art, photo or printed copy, which are then stored in various types of storage media and formats. Our skilled scanning technicians are always on hand to furnish quality color correction, and enhancement for high quality images. Keep in mind, we can save and give the image files in a format that allows you to work with any popular design and layout program. These files include TIFF, EPS, JPEG, PICT for Macintosh and TIFF, EPS, PC files.

QUALITY DRUM IMAGESETTING & SCANNING
Amica Inc. requires drum-based imagesetters for all projects. The output size capacity is up to 25" x 30". We can produce up to 3600 dpi at 425 lpi. The new format is great for up to 8.5" x 11" with color bars, offering high-resolution drum scans, producing up to 5200 dpi. Your scans are then previewed on a Calibrated Press View Monitor. EXTRAS
Receiving both 4 color and 6 color wide format output. We allow you to capture the excitement of vivid, photo-realistic color, vibrant colors! Laminating, Spot Varnishing and finishing services are all available. Amica offers "Ink-On-Paper" color proofs, which are the most accurate proofs.

Your electronic files can be sent in a matter of minutes and seconds. With electronic files, Amica uses the latest in technology to make you feel like were right next door and deliver results so you'll never leave the office. DHL and Federal Express safely and confidently sends/delivers conventional artwork to our plant and back to your office. The entire process generally takes 8-14 days. (Some jobs may take longer depending on the nature of the tasks.)

SAMPLES
Amica provides all of our clients with samples. Please call our sales and marketing staff to discuss your project. Our production team will write a specification and provide a quote in 24 hours. It can be sent with comparable samples and/or a "Dummy Book" of your specific project when requested in advance.
