Hardcover Books
Hardcover Books using only sheet-fed offset printing presses. This process constantly delivers optimum ink coverage and densities for saturated and rich color reproduction. Coated papers are Hand-Selected for their smooth surfaces and bulking code of behavior. Hardcover books and most of the paperback books are smythe sewn. The result is a product with exceptional durability compared to adhesive or typical perfect binding. The books are not susceptible to the cracking that occurs with standard industry adhesive binding.

Children´s Book
Amica International knows that children's book publishing is a highly competitive and extremely price sensitive market. Vibrant colors and strong binding is a necessity, yet the print and binding costs must be low enough to accommodate the price that retail outlets require. The children's books are generally smythe sewn rather than glued, at no additional cost. The production capabilities and resources allow us to produce and package products that would usually be cost prohibitive in North America. Many of our projects present unique production challenges such as handwork, die-cuts, pop-up features, audiocassettes or CD/DVD insertions, specialty binding and slipcase manufacturing.

Binding
Most every type of binding you can imagine is available. If you have an extraordinary binding requirement, please contact our sales department to discuss it and receive a quotation. Each of our quotations is customized to our customer liking. Being overseas, our prices are usually 25-40% lower than USA prices.

Hard Cover
Hardcover books are the most durable, attractive and priceless of all of our bindings. The page signatures are carefully sewn together, reinforced and attached to the cloth-covered hardcover with a specially designed mesh. This kind of binding adds longevity and value to your book, which is immeasurable for a high quality standard that you want to stand the test of time.

Perfect Binding
Perfect Binding is a basic paperback bookbinding. Our Perfect bound books are bound using hot, flexible glue and a wraparound cover also most are smythe sewn. It makes for a very strong, durable yet inexpensive and attractive binding. The book must usually have a minimum of 64 pages to be perfect bound.


Plastic Spiral Binding
Plastic Spiral Binding is an ideal binding for books that must open and lie flat, such as teachers' guides, MLM promotion, workbooks, cookbooks, or company manuals. Value added items such as additional pouches, calculators and pens are also available to enhance your product. We have many different styles of covers, leathers and textures, which will ad value, class and life to your binder.

Lamination
Our prices can include Gloss or Matte Nylon Lamination, Embossing, Foil stamping, Mylar re-enforcement, Spot varnishing, U. V. coating, Lamination, durable products with excellent scuff and scratch resistance.

Quality Control
Upon request, we are available for press checks and the performance rigorous quality control inspection of the production and manufacturing process.
